Re-Writing Your Story

Updated: Sep 14

I have been working on a book for well over a year now and I am still not sure exactly what is going to be included, but I am excited to share the things I've learned along my journey.

I spent my time during the pandemic, reading my old journals and processing the information. I needed to see if there was any good material I could use to go into the book. It stirred up a ton of emotional stuff. I knew it would. I used the time to let the emotion come up so I could acknowledge them and learn from them. I am happy to report, that I survived. It was very uncomfortable, and I still get uncomfortable confronting my dark side, but it has all been worth it.

The very things you are afraid of are the very same things that can empower you. I don't know how to explain it, but I know it to be true based on my own experiences. My life isn't nearly as amazing right now as I had imagined it would be when I was younger. It looks pretty boring on the outside, I think.

However, the changes that have been happening inside are incredibly profound and beautiful. I would like to invite you to take some time to look at your dark side and instead of hating it and hiding it, let it come up and show itself. The things it has to teach you will change your life forever.
